Houston, Texas

Treatment teams through Take Action Recovery understand that addiction is always unique to the person struggling with it. Because of that, clients work closely with that team to develop a program fit to their individual needs and recovery goals. Programs may utilize some combination of individual and group counseling services, life skills training, medication, and family therapy. In order to make treatment plans accessible and affordable to the public, Take Action accepts most health insurance plans and offers payment plans as well.

Editorial Note
Though Take Action Recovery does have fewer than 10 reviews on Google, all of them have significant information regarding the facility, their staff, and the services provided to each client. None of the reviews have been left in the last year which is something to consider, but these reviews could be another factor in determining whether or not this program is right for you.

The Bay Area Recovery Center in Houston is a family-owned addiction treatment center that provides access to detox programs as well as a variety of rehab programs that fit the individual client. Clients do often begin with the detoxification process in order to safely rid their bodies of any remaining substances. Once that is complete, the client will then work with an experienced treatment team to establish a program that addresses their specific situation and condition in the most effective way possible. The inpatient rehab program Bay Area offers lasts anywhere from 30 to 90 days and may include services such as group therapy, cognitive therapies, behavior modification, coping mechanism development, social adjustment training, individual counseling, vocational training, 12-step meetings, relapse prevention training, and cognitive interventions. Clients will also be able to participate in a variety of sober recreational activities. The overall goal is to provide programs that combine several layers of treatment, allowing each individual to heal and develop habits that continue that healing process even after the program has ended.
