WTC is a recovery center that provides individuals living in the state of Texas with access to outpatient medication-assisted treatments used to address opioid withdrawal symptoms. Clients living in Abilene or other areas of west Texas will be prescribed methadone or buprenorphine, both of which are FDA-approved with regard to treating withdrawal. Initially, clients will need to be assessed by a medical team in order to make sure that the medications are safe to use and that they will be effective. Clients may also have access to different counseling services. WTC in Abilene accepts Medicare, Medicaid, health insurance, or forms of self-pay. They do also accept walk-in clients who need immediate access to treatment. If the person seeking treatment still has drugs within their system, they will need to be detoxed prior to enrollment in any sort of MAT program. They will be referred to a medical detox center if necessary.

The Abilene location of Serenity House offers treatments to adolescents between the ages of 5 and 17. The goal is to provide each client with a home-like treatment facility that is comfortable and encourages overall healing. Individuals undergoing medical detoxification will have access to 24-hour support. As of right now, Serenity House in Abilene is able to house 20 detox patients at a time, but they are currently undergoing renovations in order to expand on the number of people they can help. The residential program works with both boys and girls, working to give each individual a customized plan that fits their specific needs and goals. Available treatment services include individual counseling, group therapy, education, therapeutic fitness, nutritional guidance, 12-step meetings, cognitive behavioral therapy, and more. Clients are encouraged to work with one another in an effort to hold their peers accountable and provide support to each other throughout this entire journey. Residents will have access to a 12-step garden, a serenity reflection pool, a chapel, and recreational areas for various activities. 180 House is a family-run, non-12-step residential treatment program that requires all of their residents to work during their stay as well as participate in recovery meetings every single day. Clients are also required to follow a set of seven rules that include remaining sober throughout the entire process, staying responsible for paying dues and completing chores around the facility, and participating in the set schedules they are provided with. Services include individual and group therapies, and community service. Living spaces can be private or semi-private, and clients will also have access to a kitchen and gym on-site. 180 House is a smaller addiction treatment center. Clients work with a small treatment team consisting of five individuals who are committed to giving each individual a healing environment that promotes longer-term recovery.

ABODE Treatment provides addiction treatment programs to men and women living in Abilene, Texas who are suffering from any type of chemical dependency problem.
