Texas Treatment Services

Wichita Falls, Texas

Texas Treatment Services

Wichita Falls, Texas

Texas Treatment Services is an outpatient medication-assisted treatment facility that provides methadone maintenance programs for adult men and women struggling with opioid withdrawal. Once the medication has stabilized the withdrawal symptoms that were making commitment to treatment difficult, the client will be encouraged to participate in individual or group therapies as well. The length of treatment through this program should last at least a year in order to be effective, but in general, treatment lengths are dependent upon the individual. Clients must be detoxed of any drugs prior to enrolling in a program here. The overall goal is to stabilize the client and reduce the symptoms they are experiencing. Opioid withdrawal often leads to a relapse solely because the individual wants to stop the discomfort or pain. When those symptoms are treated, the client is then able to focus on addressing the overall cause of their drug use and work towards a life of long-term recovery.
