Editorial Note
Though Addiction Free Recovery Services is not an accredited treatment facility, their reviews on Google are very positive. Because of this, we felt that they were credible enough to include in our list of rehab centers for Modesto.

Editorial Note
First Step Perinatal Substance Abuse has fewer than 10 reviews on Google, and none of those reviews were left within the last few years. Keep this in mind when looking for treatment.

Editorial Note
New Hope Recovery is another unaccredited Modesto recovery program. Because of the general lack of accredited facilities within the area, we had to drop this requirement and value rehab facilities based on other criteria. The Google reviews for this facility help increase confidence in their programs.

Aegis Treatment Center in Modesto is a medication-assisted treatment facility that only works with adult men and women over the age of 18 who suffer from long-term opioid abuse. It can be difficult for these individuals to get sober on their own due to the often painful and uncomfortable withdrawal symptoms that often follow opioid addiction. Many individuals will actually relapse in order to get rid of those symptoms. MAT programs help reduce the risk of relapse by offering medications such as methadone or buprenorphine that treat those symptoms and allow clients to focus on therapy or other aspects of the recovery process. Clients of Aegis Treatment Center will also be provided with access to medical examinations, psychoeducation, individual therapy, group therapy, gender-specific support groups, cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, case management, mindfulness training, and relaxation. Aegis Treatment Centers accept Medicare, Medicaid, and various forms of health insurance.

Editorial Note
Genesis Opioid Treatment Program did not have enough reviews on Google for us to provide them with an unbiased score. Regardless, we did choose to include this program in our list because of their accreditation and availability of services.
