At AMFM Treatment, the dual diagnosis program addresses the complex interplay between mental health disorders and substance use challenges, recognizing that approximately one in four adults with a mental health disorder also experiences substance abuse issues. Their integrated treatment approach acknowledges that these co-occurring conditions require simultaneous, specialized care to achieve lasting recovery and improved mental health outcomes. The program employs a comprehensive treatment model that combines evidence-based therapeutic interventions with personalized care plans. Each client receives a thorough initial assessment to identify both their mental health symptoms and substance use patterns, allowing the clinical team to develop targeted treatment strategies. The dual diagnosis program integrates various therapeutic modalities, including individual counseling, group therapy, medication management when necessary, and holistic approaches that address both conditions simultaneously rather than treating them as separate issues. AMFM’s residential setting provides a structured, supportive environment where clients can focus entirely on their recovery journey. Their expert clinical team includes licensed mental health professionals, addiction specialists, and medical staff who work collaboratively to address the full spectrum of each client’s needs. Whether dealing with depression and alcohol use, anxiety and prescription drug dependence, or other combinations of mental health and substance use disorders, the program offers specialized care that acknowledges the unique challenges of managing co-occurring conditions. The treatment approach emphasizes developing practical coping strategies, understanding the relationship between mental health and substance use, and building a strong foundation for long-term recovery. Through their state-of-the-art facilities and comprehensive care model, AMFM’s dual diagnosis program provides clients with the tools, support, and therapeutic interventions necessary to address both their mental health and substance use challenges effectively, working towards sustainable recovery and improved overall well-being.
