El Dorado is a medication assistance organization that utilizes narcotics replacement therapies to help adult men and women effectively treat opioid withdrawal symptoms. Clients of this specific location with be provided with Suboxone, an FDA-approved medication that minimizes uncomfortable or painful withdrawal symptoms while increasing client motivation for change. The goal is to treat these symptoms so that the threat of relapse diminishes. Clients will then participate in a variety of individual and group therapies, and they may even receive referrals to inpatient or outpatient rehab facilities in the area that are better able to address the needs of the client. This location does accept walk-in clients, and they also provide services in both English and Spanish.
