Calls to our helpline (all non-facility specific 1-8XX numbers) will be answered by Recovery Advisors, American Addiction Centers, or one of our verified local treatment partners. Calls are routed based on geographic location.

Our helpline is offered at no cost to you and with no obligation to enter into treatment. In some cases, Live Another Day charges our verified partner a modest cost per call, which helps us cover the costs of building and maintaining our website. We do not receive any commission or fee that is dependent upon which treatment provider a visitor ultimately selects.

New Horizon – Sun Ray Court

Spokane, Washington

New Horizon – Sun Ray Court

Spokane, Washington

Because this rehab facility deals with chemical dependency as a progressive disease, each client is treated as a whole. All areas of their lives are evaluated and addressed, including the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual aspects of the individual. The Sun Ray Court specifically works with adult men, providing them with individualized treatment plans that may include addiction education, low-income housing assistance, general healthcare, anger management training, stress management, and skill-building. Each client will work with their treatment team to decide which services will be most effective, and they will also receive continuing care planning so that they are supported long-term. This facility does accept Medicaid and private health insurance, but they may work with individuals who may be struggling financially.

Levels of Care
MAT, Outpatient, Residential Treatment

Editorial Note
New Horizon’s Sun Ray Court is not accredited, but their reviews are decent and they provide access to important services for men who are suffering from drug abuse or alcohol addiction.

Royal Life Centers at Spokane Heights provides access to treatment programs that take a person-centered approach, meaning that the client is at the center of the program and they play an active role in the entire recovery process. All services are customized to meet the needs of the individual and combine evidence-based therapies with holistic activities, and clients have access to constant care because of the high staff-to-client ratio. Inpatient clients have access to medical professionals and behavioral health services at all hours of the day, and they are able to step down to lower levels of care when they are able to take on more independence. Residential care lasts for as long as the client and clinician decide is appropriate, while PHP through Royal Life Centers lasts for about 12 weeks, and IOP lasts around 8 weeks. Clients are able to walk through the entire recovery process with a team that they trust and that understands their individual needs.

Spokane Treatment and Recovery Services is a non-profit organization that provides substance use disorder treatments to adult men and women. Initially, clients begin with an assessment. This allows both client and clinician to better understand what the individual suffers from, what the underlying conditions are, and how to best treat them. Along with general assessments that help plan the program, clients may also have access to DUI assessments and education. Other available services include withdrawal management, cognitive therapies, and gender-specific residential services. Men and women will live in separate spaces where they will receive individualized treatment planning, group therapy, individual therapy, case management, and more. All individuals will be monitored daily by their case managers and psychiatrists.

Levels of Care
Inpatient Treatment, MAT, Outpatient

Editorial Note
There is an overall lack of accredited programs in Spokane, so we did have to drop this as a requirement. Because of that, we looked at the facility’s reviews on Google, most of which were left within the last year and have important information about the program that may help determine whether or not this program is trustworthy.

Colonial Clinic

Spokane, Washington

Colonial Clinic

Spokane, Washington

In order to provide the most effective outpatient services possible, Colonial Clinic mostly operates through a closed group system. This means that groups are formed, and clients within those groups remain with one another throughout this entire process, increasing trust and accountability within members. Clients also participate in services such as family-inclusive programs, educational services, gender-specific services, relapse prevention training, and various forms of counseling. These services work together to help clients form positive, trustworthy relationships with people experiencing similar situations. This allows them to work together to share stories, develop coping mechanisms, and hold one another accountable for their sobriety. The cost of care depends on the length of treatment and the services used, but Colonial Clinic does accept most forms of health insurance and self-pay.

IOP, Outpatient

Editorial Note
This is another treatment center in Spokane that is unaccredited but does have decent reviews that inspire some confidence in their programs.

The Spokane location of Daybreak Youth Services, which is a non-profit organization, provides treatment programs and evaluations specifically for female clients and female-identifying clients only. Clients in residential care are offered 24-hour supervision and access to medical services, while outpatient programs still remain comprehensive but offer more independence for each individual. Clients may participate in services such as skill-building, healthy lifestyle training, education, various counseling services, recreational activities, family therapy, and psychiatric treatments. Because this location only works with female clients, services are more specific and address underlying traumas or conditions that may be very specific to women.

STOP – Spokane

Spokane, Washington

The Spokane location of STOP offers comprehensive treatment services for men and women struggling with chemical dependency. Programs are entirely customized to the client and work to ensure that they are provided with the necessary coping skills and habits to remain sober long-term. Clients will work with their clinician in both individual and group therapies, and they may also participate in anger management classes, domestic violence counseling, DUI assessments, cognitive behavioral therapy, and more. The initial goal is to address any underlying causes at the same time as those addiction symptoms are treated. In doing so, the client is better prepared for long-term sobriety.

Levels of Care
Outpatient

Spokane Comprehensive is a medication-assisted treatment facility that specifically works with adult men and women who are suffering from the withdrawal symptoms that often accompany opioid addiction. This specific MAT facility offers access to methadone, Suboxone, and buprenorphine, all of which are FDA-approved to treat withdrawal. All clients will also participate in both individual and group therapy at the same time as their medication. This allows each client to overcome symptoms that threatened their motivation for change while also working with an assigned clinician and their peers who are experiencing similar situations. Clients are able to build trust, develop the necessary skills for recovery, and create support systems that often last lifetimes.
