This specific location provides many different medical detox and outpatient programs, but clients who need inpatient treatment will be referred to the Edmonds location of Northpoint. The overall goal of treatment through The Evergreen at Northgate is to make sure that clients are given the most effective schedule while still being able to participate in daily responsibilities such as school, work, or child care. Each program, though individualized, consists of evidence-based therapies that directly treat addiction, mental illness, and any negative behaviors that need to be changed. Clients will also have access to relapse prevention training, medical care, family therapy, CBT, individual counseling, mindfulness, dialectical behavior therapy, or meditation. Depending on which level of care a client participates in, they will be required to participate in 10-30 hours of substance abuse treatment each week. Discover Recovery’s residential program lasts approximately 30 to 90 days, allowing clients to move at their own pace and receive the attention that they need in order to heal.

Each dual diagnosis treatment program for substance abuse disorders is extremely flexible, allowing clients to fit treatment around their life and other responsibilities. This facility works with clients of all ages and genders as well.
