Meridian HealthCare is a prevention-based addiction treatment center that works with adults, adolescents, entire families, veterans, and women who are pregnant. They have a 16-bed detox unit, specializing in round-the-clock care for individuals struggling with symptoms of withdrawal. This short-term process lasts around 3-7 days, and once it is complete, clients will then begin working with a team of addiction specialists to develop a program fit to their needs. This process begins with an assessment to help determine what areas are in need and how to best address them. Then, a substance abuse treatment program will be developed. In order to increase motivation for change and prevent relapses from taking place, these programs also incorporate individual therapy, group therapy, family programs, cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, art therapy, mindfulness, spiritual guidance, and life skills training. The goal is to meet the individual needs of each person seeking help while also providing them with effective, intensive health services available. Travco Behavioral Health is a continuing care treatment center, offering ongoing outpatient services to men and women who have already completed more intensive levels of drug treatment or alcohol rehab. Each rehab program will consist of weekly group therapies, individual therapy, nursing services, drug testing, relapse prevention, and case management. Travco Behavioral Health also has specific services designed for individuals of the Hispanic community and to individuals struggling with legal complications. Other mental health treatment options for substance use disorders include the ABC Model, art therapy, CBT, play therapy, trauma-informed care, medication management, and medication assistance. Travco partners with First Step Recovery, providing their inpatient clients with aftercare services.

The Carl Nunziato VA Clinic provides drug and alcohol treatment specifically to veterans and their loved ones. Along with primary healthcare services also available through the VA Clinic, clients will also have access to various levels of therapy, medication, community support, overall health maintenance, housing assistance, employment assistance, education, nutritional guidance, and various other services that meet the client’s individual needs. The goal here is to help each person reach a level of independence and social functioning that allows them to live s successful life without drugs or alcohol.

This specific location of Neil Kennedy offers 4-7 day detoxification and withdrawal management services to clients who need round-the-clock support during this initial phase of recovery.
