Ohio Addiction Recovery Center combines evidence-based therapies, 12-step philosophies, life skills planning, and holistic treatments in order to create comprehensive, individualized programs for each client. Though there are many different treatment options available, all programs offered do start with a clinical approach, meaning that they have been researched and are proven to be effective when treating substance use disorders. Life skills therapies help clients develop structured routines, learn how to budget, set employment goals, develop new hobbies, and learn healthy communication skills. Clients may also get the opportunity to participate in more holistic options like nature therapy, yoga, equine-assisted therapy, and mindful meditation. The Ohio Addiction Recovery Center does accept most health insurance plans, but they also provide access to financial assistance plans and will work with their clients to make sure they receive the treatment they need despite their financial situation. In general, the detoxification program here lasts 5-10 days while the residential treatment program is available anywhere from 17-38 days. For clients who need longer-term programs, Ohio Addiction Recovery Center does offer outpatient programs that last for a certain number of sessions depending on the need of the specific client.

Recovery Village Columbus offers a mixture of inpatient and outpatient treatment programs, all of which combine various therapies to create a multifaceted program that meets each client’s individual needs. Treatment teams consist of highly trained doctors, nurses, psychiatrists, addiction specialists, dieticians, and fitness trainers. Though no two programs will look entirely the same, clients have access to round-the-clock care and structured schedules that may consist of individual therapy, group therapy, medication management, recreational activities, nutritional guidance, 12-step programs, relapse prevention training, and aftercare planning. The goal is to provide clients with an addiction treatment plan that addresses every single aspect of their life and prepares them to maintain their sobriety once that program has ended. Through the development of coping skills and trigger identification, clients will be better able to ask for support when they need it but also overcome any obstacles that once might have felt too big.
