Community Assessment and Treatment Services provides cost-effective, evidence-based therapies to members of the Cleveland community who are in need of addiction treatment. They offer four different treatment plans: Cognitive Changes/Therapeutic Community, Men’s Residential, Women’s Residential, and the Outpatient Program. Each of the residential tracks offers varying lengths of time in treatment, from 30 days to 6 months. Each plan will encompass various evidence-based therapies, assessments, relapse prevention training, drug testing, and housing assistance. Community Assessment and Treatment Services also works with individuals recently released from incarceration. The goal is to provide them with treatment for drug or alcohol problems so that they are better prepared to reintegrate into society as healthy as they can be.

Silver Maple Recovery is an addiction recovery treatment center for men struggling with addiction to alcohol, opioids, heroin, cocaine, or marijuana. They offer a 3 to 5-day detox program, and once that is complete, clients will be able to enroll in a drug or alcohol treatment plan that addresses their individual needs. These men will have access to services such as addiction education, 12-step integration, relapse prevention, group therapy, individual therapy, family-inclusive programs, art therapy, pastoral therapy, and community-based recovery programs. All treatment options are customized to the specific client, and extensive aftercare planning allows these men to remain in contact with their peers and treatment team in order to have ongoing support once their dependency program has ended.

Behavioral health services available at the Charak Center for Health and Wellness in Elyria, Ohio include case management, group therapy, medication assistance through Suboxone or Vivitrol, medication management, 12-step support groups, and family therapy. The Elyria location mainly utilizes outpatient MAT programs to treat adult men and women struggling with opioid withdrawals. Y Haven is a substance abuse treatment program supporting men and women in the Cuyahoga County area. Though they support both men and women, the specific populations they work with include men who are struggling with homelessness, adults who are being released from incarceration, and adults who need help with their opioid use disorders. Clients will live in shared, fully-furnished suites and participate in group therapy, individual therapy, primary healthcare, medication assistance as needed, vocational support, medication monitoring, and case management services. Clients must be at least 21 years old and will be provided with up to six months of continuing care and recovery housing programs. The goal is to take these individuals and provide them with the support and skills they need to get back on their feet and live a successful life free from drugs or alcohol.

Community Action Against Addiction is a medication-assisted treatment facility that provides services to men and women in Cuyahoga County. Clients must be at least 18 years old and suffer from opioid abuse and withdrawal. The available medications at this facility include methadone, buprenorphine, and Vivitrol. Along with medications meant to stabilize those withdrawal symptoms, clients will also participate in services such as individual therapy, group therapy, art therapy, relapse prevention training, and case management. This rehabilitation center does not offer detoxification services, and in order for clients to receive these medications and therapies, they must have already detoxed. Community Action Against Addiction accepts Medicare, Medicaid, and private health insurance plans.

Clients seeking help through the Rosary Hall location of Saint Vincent Charity Medical Center have access to varying types of outpatient treatment, allowing for more customization and flexibility when it comes to treating drug abuse and alcohol addiction. Along with having medication-assisted treatments available, clients will also have access to individual therapy, aftercare group therapy, various evaluations, 12-step programs, and community-based services. Right now, Rosary Hall is offering treatment services in-person and through Telehealth, giving clients the chance to receive treatment where they feel most comfortable. Other services may be available as each program is customized to the individual client, but in general, all will be catered towards treating those substance use disorders alongside any possible mental health issues that need to be addressed as well.

New Directions provides people in Cleveland, Ohio with a wide variety of services that can be combined into an effective, evidence-based program that fosters overall wellness and helps each client develop the skills necessary for remaining sober long-term. Some of the evidence-based therapies utilized are CBT, family systems therapy, motivational enhancement therapy, and reality therapy. Along with those evaluations, clients will also participate in case management services, individual therapy, group therapy, and medication assistance through Suboxone, Subutex, and Vivitrol. Circle Health is not only an addiction rehab facility. They are also a community organization, working to change the stigma of these diseases and promote prevention techniques and harm reduction services. They offer a syringe exchange program at specific locations and hours throughout the city as they try to decrease instances of blood-transmitted diseases. They also provide access to Naloxone kits and training on how to prevent overdoses by administering Naloxone correctly.

As a full-service medical facility, clients have access to important services that treat the entire person.
