Though they work with all types of addiction, the Knoxville JourneyPure team mostly sees clients suffering from addiction to alcohol, heroin, prescription drugs, and methamphetamine. As a long-term residential program, EM Jellinek Center gives each of their clients the chance to put life on hold, commit to sobriety, and spend all of their time receiving treatment through a very structured program. Through these intensive schedules, treatment teams are able to address each client as a whole, treating the emotional, spiritual, physical, and mental needs of each person. Substance abuse treatment services include various counseling options that address positive social interactions, anger management, relapse prevention, life skills, and coping mechanisms. Other services include aftercare planning and referrals if clients need specific services that EM Jellinek does not offer.

As an outpatient program, Bradford Health Services in Knoxville provides flexible addiction treatment programs that clients are able to fit around their lives. Through initial evaluations, clients work with their team to set recovery goals and design a program that works to meet those goals. Once the initial program has ended, each person is encouraged to remain part of Bradford Health Services through their continuing care program. Clients will participate in weekly support groups, their family members will also receive support, and they will have access to a long list of recovery resources and alumni programs.

BHG Knoxville is currently accepting walk-in clients and new patients who need medication-assisted treatment services for addiction to opioids. This recovery program is able to prescribe Suboxone or methadone to their clients. These medications are prescribed to help make the withdrawal symptoms more manageable so that clients are motivated to remain in a drug rehab program rather than relapsing in order to get rid of those symptoms. Along with these medications, clients also participate in individual therapy, CBT, group therapy, family therapy, and stress management services. BHG makes these programs affordable, and they accept health insurance, TennCare, and other forms of payment.

CenterPoint is their residential location in Knoxville, providing access to services for adolescents, young adults, and adults. Clients who need it will also have access to withdrawal management services. Once the residential program is complete, clients may then be referred to one of the other locations McNabb has to offer around the state of Tennessee for other services that are a step down from residential care. The Peninsula Outpatient Center in Knoxville provides various dependency services on an outpatient basis, allowing for more customization to both the individual services provided as well as the overall schedule clients are expected to participate in.
