Peoria Treatment Center, which is part of the BayMark Health Services group, is a medication-assisted treatment facility. Clients suffering from opioid withdrawal symptoms and cravings can work with opioid specialists to determine which medications and treatment services will be most effective will be most effective in addressing these symptoms and increasing overall client motivation for change. They will have access to methadone, Suboxone, and Naltrexone. Alongside these medications, clients will also participate in both individual counseling and opioid addiction support groups. Clients will be able to connect with their peers, discuss similar situations, and develop relapse prevention skills. Clients in need of inpatient treatment or detox programs will be referred to another location that does offer these programs.

The Pekin location of Gateway Foundation offers outpatient treatments that are both affordable and flexible, as well as a clean and inviting environment where clients can receive help. Their outpatient programs consist of cognitive behavioral therapy, group counseling, medication assistance, DBT, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, DUI education, trauma therapies, 12-step meetings, and coping skill development. Because this is a smaller addiction recovery program, clients are given the necessary time and attention from treatment teams that are required for healing but are often an oversight at larger rehab facilities. Clients will also have access to outdoor recreational activities such as hiking, games, sports, equine-assisted treatments, and pet therapy. Clients in need of more structured residential treatments will be referred to nearby Gateway Foundation locations that offer this service.

Rose Medical Association is an all-inclusive drug abuse and alcohol addiction treatment program that works to increase community access to high-quality and affordable rehab programs and behavioral health services. One of their main goals is to decrease the negative impact that opioid addiction has on the community and families within the Peoria area. In order to do this, they offer medication-assisted treatment programs that provide access to methadone and Suboxone. Rose Medical also offers chemical dependency assessments, DUI evaluations, and risk reduction training. All services are offered at a set fee. Clients will need to be fully detoxed prior to using MAT in order to address withdrawal, so Rose Medical Association will provide referrals to local detoxification facilities that are trustworthy and safe.
