New Season in Orlando is a medication-assisted treatment facility that provides different FDA-approved medications to men and women over the age of 18 who suffer from opioid withdrawal and cravings. These medications include methadone, buprenorphine, and Suboxone, and clients will need to be examined by medical professionals prior to determining which medication and dose are most effective and safest. Clients will also participate in individual therapy, group therapy, family programs, constant medical supervision, and referrals to other facilities that can offer longer-term services once this MAT program is complete.

La Amistad Behavioral Health is a serene, healing alcohol and drug treatment center that offers individualized treatment services in order to treat any substance use disorders or possible co-occurring mental health issues that may also be present. Aside from standard clinical therapies, La Amistad also provides mindfulness courses, nutrition education, and stress management techniques. Their programs use an integrative model based on 12-step traditions, and the areas of focus within each treatment program include family, wellness, responsibility, and abstinence. Because overall wellness requires various treatment approaches, La Amistad utilizes holistic and recreational therapies such as equine therapy, yoga, and swimming as well. Clients are able to pay for their programs and services through forms of health insurance and private pay.

Aspire Health Partners is a non-profit addiction treatment facility that offers a long list of behavioral healthcare services to men in the Orlando area who suffer from substance abuse disorders. At this facility, clients will have access to short-term inpatient treatment services that last 60-90 days and may include psychiatric services, medication management, group therapy, individual therapy, case management, relapse prevention training, addiction education, crisis management, and life skills training. All clients will have access to medical services 24 hours a day and live in a healing environment where they are treated in a way that best addresses their individual needs. Clients will live together and be required to obtain employment throughout this process. Central Florida Treatment Center is a methadone-only clinic, offering a combination of MAT and evidence-based therapies in order to help men and women who suffer from opioid addiction. Though these medications are important in addressing immediate symptoms of addiction, clients will be required to participate in different types of counseling services that offer access to the development of life skills and healthy habits that promote long-term wellness. Clients will also participate in different types of psychiatric and medical evaluations, drug screenings, and medication tapering. Clients must be detoxed prior to beginning treatment, but once their body is rid of these substances and stabilized from withdrawal, clients can work to increase their motivation and commitment to recovery. Central Florida Treatment accepts different types of health insurance, Medicare, and military insurance.

The Orlando VA Medical Center is an addiction treatment facility that works specifically with veterans who are in need of trauma-informed rehab programs. Not only does this facility offer programs that address drug use, but clients suffering from co-occurring homelessness or mental health disorders will also receive services that address those conditions as well. Clients will also have access to individual counseling, group therapies, anger management classes, nutritional guidance, medication management, and access to primary healthcare services. Counseling services at this facility help clients address negative thoughts and behaviors while also increasing their access to skill development and long-term support.

STEPS is a not-for-profit organization that provides person-centered programs combined with interventions, prevention services, and addiction education in order to treat the entire individual. All adults will have access to outpatient programs, but STEPS does only offer residential care to women. Services include evidence-based therapies, cognitive behavioral therapy, network therapy, individual counseling sessions, motivational interviewing, family interventions, medication assistance, and court-mandated programs. Clients who suffer from opioid abuse will be provided with a prescription for Vivitrol, buprenorphine, and methadone in order to minimize those withdrawal symptoms and decrease cravings. Clients will also have access to community outreach services, case management, and aftercare planning.

Though they typically only treat children and adolescents for mental health disorders, University Behavioral Center provides comprehensive programs for adults struggling with substance use disorders.
