The Willough at Naples is a psychiatric hospital that provides each of their adult clients with access to inpatient substance abuse and mental health treatments. They are able to work with up to 87 individuals at a time. Throughout this process, clients work with a multidisciplinary treatment team of medical professionals, nurses, and addiction specialists that work with their clients in a facility that provides them access to semi-private living spaces, both indoor and outdoor recreational areas, private bathrooms, and clean common areas. Inpatient treatment consists of assessments, crisis interventions, behavioral modification, medication management, wellness education, family therapy, recreational activities, community care, and aftercare planning. Clients and their loved ones will be able to participate in different activities together, working with one another to improve their relationships and develop coping skills and boundaries that help improve the environment where these clients will live once they leave The Willough.

David Lawrence Center is a not-for-profit, community-based rehab program that offers a combination of prevention services, crisis interventions, addiction education, and comprehensive treatments to each individual who seeks help. Their goal is to decrease the negative effects that drug abuse and alcohol addiction has on the state of Florida. Their behavioral health services are provided to individuals of all ages, but adults and adolescents are kept separate in order to give them the most appropriate services possible. Programs will include some combination of withdrawal management, addiction education, and different types of therapy. Each drug and alcohol abuse program follows a set of five different modules that clients move through in order to graduate from their program: the Disease Concept of Addiction, Managing Thoughts and Behaviors, Healthy Relationships, Recovery Maintenance, and Living a Balanced Lifestyle. Inpatient care is offered for 2-5 weeks, depending on the client’s individual progression through their recovery process. A variety of other behavioral therapies and treatment services are available in order to treat substance use disorders, but those options depend entirely on the individual’s need and willingness to participate in certain therapies.
