Crossroads Mission of Yuma is a non-profit, Christian-based organization that addresses drug abuse and alcohol addiction based on the teachings of God. Residents are provided with 24-hour supervision and support, allowing each individual to reside in a healing environment where they are able to connect with their peers and treatment team and commit 100% of their time to recovery. This program is short-term, with most clients staying up to 10 days, and offers access to treatment services such as withdrawal stabilization for opioid addiction and case management. Clients will also be offered a long-term residential program, lasting around 120 days, which includes group therapy, individual therapy, 12-step programs, and family therapy.

This drug/alcohol rehab is not accredited, but it does have mostly positive reviews and offers critical services to individuals living in the Yuma area. Because of the general lack of accredited programs in this area, we chose to drop that requirement and provide a variety of facilities based on their Google reviews and other requirements.
The main goal of Horizon Health is to provide each client with a recovery journey that promotes wellness within each client. Their main philosophy rests on the idea that kindness is the key to helping each individual achieve long-term recovery. There are several locations, but the Yuma facility offers access to peer support, family programs, dialectical behavior therapy, medication management, health education, psychiatric services, and trauma therapies. Because they are an outpatient drug treatment provider, Horizon Health offers flexible and affordable programs that clients are able to fit into their life without having to choose between work, education, or familial responsibilities and drug/alcohol treatment. Horizon Health accepts most health insurance plans, Medicare, and Medicaid. All services are bilingual and allow Spanish-speaking individuals to receive culturally-specific outpatient services as well.

Community Health Associates is a healthcare provider and rehabilitation center that works with adolescents and adults to provide immediate access to outpatient programs, prevention education, and crisis interventions. All services are offered to both English and Spanish-speaking individuals and address topics or conditions such as mental illness, relationships, parenting, and emotion regulation. Clients may have access to treatment services such as evaluations, medication management, case management brief psychotherapy, discharge planning, recovery coaching, and coping skill development. For individuals who require help through a residential treatment facility, a referral may be necessary in order to connect them with supportive services that address their individual needs.
