Clients typically begin IOP through New Dawn once they have completed a detox or inpatient treatment program. Though each program is designed to meet the needs of the specific client, they may participate in services such as group therapy, individual therapy, coping skill development, relapse prevention, and family-inclusive programs. In order to address mental health issues alongside alcohol addiction or drug addiction, New Dawn believes that the inclusion of loved ones is critical. Because this is a hospital setting, clients have constant access to medical professionals and their treatment team.
