The Center for Human Services through Recovery Network of Programs is an outpatient medication-assisted treatment center that works with adult men and women who have been addicted to any type of opioid or prescription drug and are suffering from withdrawal symptoms. Center for Human Services is a methadone maintenance clinic, so clients will work with a comprehensive treatment team that includes medical professionals and prescribing doctors who ensure that each person is given the correct dosage of methadone in the safest, most effective way possible. Other services available include individual therapy, group therapy, and family therapy where topics such as overall health, legal issues, and long-term goals are discussed.

Root Center for Advanced Recovery is a client-centered program that approaches treatment by looking at each client as a whole. There are different locations around Connecticut, including centers in Hartford, New Britain, and Middletown, but the Norwich location offers access to a newly renovated facility that is now able to work with up to 500 clients a day. This facility works with adults and adolescents. Available services include evidence-based therapies, group therapy, one-on-one counseling, family programs, and psychiatric medications. For clients struggling with opioid withdrawal, Root Center for Advanced Recovery offers FDA-approved medications like buprenorphine, Naltrexone, and methadone in order to treat those symptoms.
