AdCare Rhode Island is a 59-bed inpatient alcohol and drug treatment center with a mission of providing transformational recovery experiences to individuals struggling with substance dependence. The state-of-the-art facility is nestled on 30 acres of peaceful New England woodland in historic North Kingstown. The campus is conveniently located just minutes away from both the airport and downtown Providence. AdCare RI is also located close to pristine beaches and recreational areas for outdoor, therapeutic opportunities. The newly renovated facility is outfitted with semi-private rooms with private baths, a fitness center, basketball courts, and many other amenities.

The professional lives of first responders and military service members are unique. The act of doing the job may result in violence, injury, trauma, or grief. In sacrificing so much to help others, our nation’s heroes are too often left with few resources to help themselves. That’s why we’re here to provide quality addiction and co-occurring disorder treatment for Veterans and first responders.
One of the most harmful effects of alcohol and drug addiction is the damage it causes to families. At AdCare, we firmly believe that family members and friends deserve to participate in their loved one’s treatment process, both to increase the chances of a successful recovery and to receive counseling and support for themselves. Our addiction family counseling program is designed to help loved ones get involved and begin to heal.
