Sioux Falls Treatment Center

Sioux Falls, South Dakota

Sioux Falls Treatment Center

Sioux Falls, South Dakota

Sioux Falls Treatment Center provides outpatient treatment services to adult men and women over the age of 18 who are suffering from withdrawal symptoms due to opioid addiction. They are a methadone maintenance clinic, so if clients want other medications in order to address these symptoms, then they will be referred to a different facility. Treatment through Sioux Falls Treatment Center includes community support services, individual counseling sessions, and drug screenings. Because this is a medication-assisted treatment facility, clients will not receive round-the-clock care and may need to be referred to a different addiction recovery center that does provide residential treatments.

Choices Recovery Services

Sioux Falls, South Dakota

Choices Recovery Services

Sioux Falls, South Dakota

The main goal of treatment through Choices Recovery Services is to equip each of their clients with the tools needed for proactively addressing substance abuse and dependency problems long-term. All clients begin with an assessment that allows them to work with their clinician to decide which services are the best fit to address their needs. Each program through Choices Recovery is community-based as one of their main philosophies is that all addictions can be treated through community involvement. The IOP services are individualized to the specific client because there is not a one-size-fits-all answer to treating addiction. Choices Recovery Services also offers a 12-hour DUI course and other court-mandated programs to help clients overcome any consequences that may have come from drug or alcohol addiction as quickly as possible so that recovery can become their sole focus. The recovery programs through Choices Recovery all include aftercare planning and support groups for alumni to continue using even after the program has ended.

Levels of Care
Outpatient

Editorial Note
Choices Recovery Services is not an accredited facility, at least not by the organizations we deem as most trustworthy for determining which rehab programs are most effective. We have still chosen to include it in our list of best rehabs for South Dakota because of their reviews and a general lack of facilities in the area.

Sioux Falls, South Dakota

Glory House of Sioux Falls

Sioux Falls, South Dakota

When clients seek help through Glory House of Sioux Falls, their lives are addressed on the basis of their criminal history, education, employment, finances, relationships, housing, physical health, what type of drug abuse or alcohol addiction they suffer from, and possible co-occurring disorders that may be affecting their life and their overall recovery journey. Addiction touches every aspect of the client’s life which is why it is so critical that each of these areas be addressed simultaneously. Though the treatment teams at Glory House are equipped to treat all kinds of disorders, they also provide a very specific 16-week program for individuals suffering from methamphetamine addiction. Some of the other treatment services clients have access to include electric monitoring services, case management, corrective thinking, and various therapies, including group therapy sessions.

Levels of Care

Editorial Note
There is a lack of drug and alcohol rehab facilities in South Dakota, especially ones that are accredited by the Joint Commission or CARF. Because of this, we have had to choose from unaccredited facilities. Glory House was included based on its Google reviews and access to specific programs.
