Gateway Rehab – Green Tree

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Gateway Rehab offers comprehensive, whole-person drug and alcohol addiction treatment services to individuals in the Pittsburgh area. The Green Tree location provides outpatient treatments to men and women struggling with substance abuse, but more specifically opioid addiction. Clients will have access to medication assistance, various behavioral therapies, and EMDR. Though these programs are more flexible, clients will be required to participate in a certain number of hours of treatment each week. As a more evidence-based facility, treatment plans might also include cognitive behavioral therapy, DBT, and psychodynamic therapies. If clients require other levels of care or specific programs offered at a different Pennsylvania Gateway Rehab location, they will be referred to one of those facilities in order to receive the treatment they need.

Levels of Care
MAT, Outpatient

Editorial Note
Gateway Rehab in Pittsburgh has fewer than 10 reviews on Google, and none of them were left within the last three years. We chose to give them such a high rating based on their accreditation and the ratings of other Gateway locations across Pennsylvania. Though reviews can be a helpful tool when deciding which facility to attend, they are not the main way we score our facilities and more research should be done.

They provide services to adults and adolescents in order to keep programs accessible throughout the community for all who need help. Clients struggling with opioid withdrawal will be prescribed either Vivitrol, Sublocade, or Suboxone. Jade Wellness is able to accept some forms of health insurance and self-pay.

Editorial Note
Though Jade Wellness Center is not accredited by either of our two trusted organizations and they have few reviews on Google, we felt that it was important to include them in this list of best rehabilitation centers for Pittsburgh due to the overall need for treatment and the access that they provide to those services.

Adaptive Behavioral Services

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Adaptive Behavioral Services

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Adaptive Behavioral Services’ core belief is that the client must be treated as a whole, and once the entire person is treated, the symptoms of substance abuse will be easier to address and overcome. Each program they offer is culturally-responsible, inclusive, and effective, allowing individuals of all races, genders, sexualities, and more to be treated with the same high-quality services that more privileged individuals receive. Through a combination of medications, support, and behavioral counseling services, clients are provided with a customized program fit to their specific needs. Their peer support group is one of the most critical pieces of each treatment plan. It allows clients to connect with one another, form trusting relationships, and learn various skills from their peers that can help treat those underlying or co-occurring disorders that may have led to drug or alcohol use. This also helps hold each person accountable for their recovery process.
