All of their programs are gender-specific and customized to the individual client. Residential services are used to offer longer-term treatment and more intensive daily schedules that clients can participate in and learn the skills needed to remain sober once they leave this facility. These daily schedules may include services such as medication management, nutritional guidance, meditation, peer-led support groups, life skills training, individual therapy, spiritual guidance, relapse prevention training, community meetings, and 12-step meetings. GateHouse does offer a long list of other treatment options, including family-inclusive programs that invite family members and loved ones to participate in each step of this recovery process. Though these services are customized to the client and the total length of treatment also depends on the individual, residential services typically last between 3-6 months.

Pennsylvania Counseling Services works to provide increased access to different forms of therapy for men, women, and adolescents in Pennsylvania and surrounding areas. They have several different locations across the state. The Lancaster City location provides access to outpatient treatment services including mental health counseling, case management, addiction education, psychiatric care, and bilingual services. They do also offer school-based programs that work to provide early intervention or prevention. Some of the other available treatment options offered to clients suffering from drug addiction include motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, play therapy, spiritual guidance, anger management classes, trauma therapies, and contingency management. PCA accepts many different health insurance providers, Tricare, and Medicare.

The Lancaster location offers several outpatient services, including individual therapy and group therapy as the main methods of addiction treatment. Because they only offer access to outpatient treatments, each client will choose a set program. Outpatient only requires the client to participate in one individual counseling session a week and two hours of group therapy while IOP requires three days of group therapy each week with one hour of individual counseling as well. Clients are able to customize the specific therapies used. Some of the available options include meditation, grief therapy, neurophysiology, 12-step work, stress management, relapse prevention training, communication enhancement, behavior modification, and relaxation techniques to name a few. The overall cost of care depends on the client’s specific program and their ability to pay for those services.

As an outpatient facility, programs are both affordable and flexible. Clients are able to choose when to fit recovery into their life so that they don’t ever have to choose between work, school, or family responsibilities in order to receive effective addiction treatment. Though each program is individualized, available services include psychiatric evaluations, medication management, individual or group therapy, play therapy, parent-child interaction therapy, early recovery services, relapse prevention training, medication assistance, and care management. Clients suffering from opioid withdrawal will have access to Suboxone or Vivitrol. The real goal here is to make sure that TW Ponessa and Associates offers as many services as possible in order to help provide all of their clients with the most effective program possible. TW Ponessa and Associates does also accept most health insurance plans, Medicare, and other forms of payment in order to make sure that their services are affordable and accessible.
