Evansville, Indiana

Counseling for Change is a non-profit substance abuse treatment facility that combines prevention programs, interventions, and addiction recovery services. Their initial goal was to provide access to immediate care within the area and fix the problem many face when they are placed on a long waitlist but need treatment now. The main form of treatment through Counseling for Change rests on the Matrix Model. This sets the foundation for all of the other services available, including moral reconation therapy, life skill development, trauma therapy, EMDR, individual counseling, and family therapy. They also provide access to community-based 12-step meetings and other forms of treatment. Counseling for Change does try to help each client find the most affordable option possible, but it is the responsibility of the client to pay for their services.

Though Deaconess Cross Pointe is not an accredited drug abuse or alcohol addiction rehab program, they do have decent reviews and important treatment plans that help men and women in need.
