Moonlight Mountain Recovery emphasizes the body, mind, and soul connection when it comes to treating any sort of drug use or alcohol addiction within their clients. Zelus Recovery regards addiction as a chronic disease that needs to be treated by evidence-based practices, designed to address that very specific person and their disease. Though the main goal is to treat the symptoms of addiction, each treatment plan also encompasses a variety of therapies and family-inclusive programs that equip clients with the tools and skills necessary for long-term sobriety. Each individual will participate in psychotherapy, therapeutic fitness, yoga, nutritional guidance, DBT, CBT, and early interventions. Most of the programs are for adults who need to be treated, but some of the prevention services are offered to adolescents in order to minimize the negative effect that drugs and alcohol have on the community. Clients will also have access to multi-systemic therapy, rational emotive behavioral therapy, and medication management.

There aren’t many accredited programs in Idaho, so in order to provide a variety of programs, we had to drop that requirement and look at other trust factors.

Restored Paths engages clients and their family members in treatment, allowing the individual to be treated while also addressing environmental factors that may have contributed to the substance use. Including loved ones throughout the recovery process allows everyone involved to develop coping skills and to learn about addiction, thus allowing recovery to take place in the home as well. This facility also offers domestic violence treatments for clients who have also suffered trauma that either led to drug use or was worsened by drug use.

Kimi Recovery Center provides their clients with a full continuum of outpatient care and a long list of treatment services to choose from, allowing them to design comprehensive programs that fit each individual client. Their services include intensive aftercare planning, parenting classes, anger management training, MRT, case management, DUI assessments, and individual therapy. IOP lasts approximately 12 weeks with clients committing to at least 9 hours of treatment each week, and the general outpatient program requires only 4 hours a week for up to 12 weeks. They have two locations in Idaho, both of which offer similar programs and accept health insurance, Medicaid, and cash.
