Fort Smith Behavioral Health

Fort Smith, Arkansas

Fort Smith Behavioral Health provides drug and alcohol treatment programs to adult men and women. This facility primarily treats substance abuse through outpatient programs that mainly incorporate therapy as the main form of care. All individuals will be assessed at the beginning of enrollment to allow the clinician a chance to determine what the person is dealing with and how to best treat them. Following that assessment, the clinician and client will work together to create a plan that works for them. Clients will have access to individual therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and psychoanalytic therapies. The overall goal of these services is to help clients develop goals, increase self-esteem and confidence, help the individual develop coping skills that manage triggers, improve the individual’s communication skills and interpersonal relationships, and give the client a space to share their experiences with their peers. Fort Smith Behavioral Health does work with some private health insurance providers, and they also accept forms of self-pay.
