Northwest Arkansas Psychological Group begins all of their processes with an evaluation that helps to determine what each client needs and which of the available treatment services address those needs. Because this is an outpatient facility, most of the services revolve around individual or group therapies. Clients may have access to medications, but the overall goal is to give each client the chance to develop skills that not only help in their overall life but that help them to cope with possible triggers they may experience in the outside world. Northwest Arkansas Psychological Group also offers DWI services, individual therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy. This facility only provides short-term services with a typical length of 10-12 sessions. Northwest Arkansas only accepts Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance but may be able to work out other payment plans or financial assistance for each client.

Editorial Note
Northwest Arkansas Psychological Group is not accredited by the Joint Commission or CARF, so we based their programs solely on the reviews on Google left by former clients.

The Veterans Healthcare System works to increase access to care for veterans who are struggling with substance abuse, especially if that drug addiction is due to underlying traumas, homelessness, or poverty. They are specifically an outpatient drug addiction treatment center, allowing clients to fit treatment into their everyday life. Outpatient services mostly consist of different individual and group therapy options. Each individual will have access to psychiatric and medical consultations, family programs, anger management classes, case management, psychosocial rehabilitation, nutritional guidance, medication management, and suicide prevention services to name a few. As a VA healthcare clinic, clients may also have access to primary healthcare services and other programs that contribute to the individual’s overall wellness.

Harbor House – Fayetteville

Fayetteville, Arkansas

Harbor House provides several levels of substance abuse treatment programs in order to give every single client access to a full continuum of care. Most clients begin with a higher level of treatment and then move onto lower levels of care so that they can gain some more independence while still remaining close to a support system that promotes long-term recovery. Available treatment options include comprehensive assessments, individual therapy, group therapy, family programs, self-help support groups, CBT, motivational enhancement, EMDR, mindfulness training, and so much more. Harbor House does also offer access to transitional living spaces, prevention programs, and gender-specific treatments. All clients will also have access to aftercare planning to ensure that they continue receiving care long-term.

Inpatient Treatment, IOP, Outpatient, Sober Living

Editorial Note
There were not enough reviews on Google for us to provide Harbor House with an unbiased score. They are accredited, though, so we did choose to include them in our list but advise that every client do their own research and make sure the facility is right for them

Housley and Associates

Fayetteville, Arkansas

Housley and Associates

Fayetteville, Arkansas

When it comes to treating men and women who struggle with drug abuse, alcohol addiction, and any underlying mental health problems, Housley and Associates takes a client-centered approach. This means that each individual who seeks help through the program will play an active role in the development and modification of their individual recovery program. Though these programs are meant to treat the individual client, each treatment plan includes services that encourage the participation of loved ones. Some of the drug and alcohol treatments available include individual therapy, group therapy, family programs, anger management classes, various assessments, and education. Clients are able to combine various treatment modalities in order to address their individual situations. Because this is an outpatient rehabilitation center, clients may need a referral for programs that offer detoxification services, partial hospitalization, or even inpatient treatment depending on the level of need that the client shows. Housley and Associates does accept some forms of health insurance, and the admissions team will help find payment plans that work best for the individual.

Editorial Note
This recovery center is not accredited, nor did it have enough reviews for us to provide them with an unbiased score. Because of the overall lack of facilities in Fayetteville, we did choose to include them based on the services they provide. It is extremely important to always do your own research when looking for the right drug or alcohol rehab.
