The Narcotic Drug Treatment Center (NDTC) is a nonprofit organization that helps treat drug abuse by addressing the physical, psychological, social, and economic needs of each individual seeking help. This specific treatment facility focuses on treating adult men and women who suffer from withdrawal symptoms due to opioid abuse or addiction to prescription drugs such as OxyContin. In order for them to be able to enroll in a program here, clients must have actively used opioids for at least one year and currently be dependent upon them. Clients will have access to medication-assisted treatments where their medical doctor may prescribe methadone. Other services they will participate in include individual therapy and group therapy. If clients require other services or longer-term treatment following stabilization after methadone maintenance, they will receive a referral to a trusted rehab facility nearby.
